एमईएमएस ध्वनिक सेंसर का उपयोग उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान के प्रक्षेपण के दौरान उत्पन्न ध्वनिक स्तरों की निगरानी के लिए किया जाता है। यह बिल्ट-इन इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स के साथ एक पीजोइलेक्ट्रिक, एमईएमएस सेंसर है। एमईएमएस तकनीक लघु उपकरणों को सटीक, बैचफैब्रिकेटेड होने में सक्षम बनाती है। सेंसर तापमान, कंपन और झटके के कठोर वातावरण में काम करते हैं।
